Nature is a garden in itself providing “food for the spirit.”

Vegetable gardens provide not only food
for the nutrition we need, but also

can connect a person with those collective memories
of thousands of years of humans’ doing the same,”
and the gratitude to nature’s natural replenishing
of “body and spirit.” There is strong mind/body/spirit
nourishment in such gardening.

After planting and tending the vegetable plants,
to watch them produce nutritional food is truly
amazing. From a seed comes pounds of vegetables.
Truly an awesome experience that brings such
appreciation of what nature can provide when
we protect, nurture, and tend it.
Taking the effort to work nutrients into the soil
is a reminder of taking the effort to add
personal wellness “nutrients.”
Gardening being one of the best.

In each season there are exquisite pieces of “Nature’s Art” to be found.

These natural “works of art” inspire and replenish, and remind us that in wanton destruction of nature we lose natural museums of inspiring beauty.

People paint natural scenes, and there are abundant natural “paintings” when nature is allowed its full “palate” of flora.

May we be as open to bringing beauty to life as even these tiny plants do.
